Introducing: RacingBreaks Ryder

RacingBreaks Ryder is an attractive four-year-old colt by Fast Company and out of the well-bred mare, Nisma.

RacingBreaks Ryder looked a speedy type when breezing and there’s plenty of stamina in his pedigree. He caught the eye of bloodstock agent Anthony Bromley at the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze Up sales, who thought he was perfect for Racing Breaks.

Fast Company is sire to some top Flat horses, including Jet Setting, who finished her racing career after her three-year-old season with a mark of 120.

His dam, Nisma, is a Montjeu mare, putting RacingBreaks Ryder in the same family of Sadler’s Wells – one of racing’s most successful and influential bloodlines.

His trainer, Charlie Hills noted that RacingBreaks Ryder has ‘got a very good action and is a very forward going horse. Looks very bright and alert in his eye – enjoys what he does as well, which is important’.

RacingBreaks Ryder progressed nicely through his first season of racing and finished it off with a very encouraging win at Brighton.

He then got his 3-year-old campaign off to a great start by winning his seasonal debut at Nottingham. Ryder went on to win two further races (click HERE to watch his win at Ascot), making it four on the bounce before running at some of the most prestigious Flat meetings in the world; Royal Ascot, followed by Glorious Goodwood and most recently the Ebor Festival at York.

RacingBreaks Ryder enjoyed a good break over the winter and is now back in training as the start of the Flat racing season beckons.

Charlie has already got his sights on some nice targets for him this year, so it shouldn’t be long before this exciting lad is back in action and hopefully back to winning ways…

Share Breakdown

There is one other partner in this horse, who owns 50% of the shares. This means that once 1250 shares have been sold, the syndicate will be full.

Unlike other syndicates, Old Gold Racing does not charge owners VAT. This means that there is no need to reclaim VAT and that a share represents a greater proportion of the racehorse.

At the end of the syndicate term any unspent funds are returned to owners pro-rata. These funds can be withdrawn or used against the cost of renewing or purchasing a share.
