Stroll On By

Stroll On By is a 6-year-old gelding by Walk In The Park and out of the Kalanisi mare, Liss Croga. Rolo’s sire, Walk In The Park, stands for Coolmore and his progeny include superstar National Hunt horses Douvan, Min, Koshari, Jonbon and Walk In The Mill.

Standing at 16.2hh, ‘Rolo’ has a lovely conformation, with an athletic build and a light frame. Stroll On By has run into a place in six of his ten runs to date: three times in bumpers and three times over hurdles. Given his natural ability and the progression we’ve seen from him so far, it shouldn’t be long before his owners are visiting the winners enclosure.

As his trainer, Charlie Longsdon, puts it…‘One thing he’s shown is he’s a racehorse, who we’re going to have plenty more fun days with!’Charlie is consistently impressed by his work at home, noting that… ‘he’s just got a great attitude to his work, a great attitude to life and a great attitude to jumping’.

‘Rolo’ still has plenty of maturing and developing left to do and we feel that he will really come into himself when he’s faced with a fence next season.
