Cropredy Lawn Racing Club

At Cropredy Lawn Racing Club, no one is 'just a number'. As a member, you’ll be welcomed into the Paul Webber Racing family, treated to regular stable visits and stay better briefed about our horse(s) than many sole owners (ssshh, don’t tell them!).

Cropredy Lawn is beautifully situated in the Oxfordshire countryside near Mollington, almost slap bang in the middle of England. The yard boasts state-of-the-art training equipment and around 50 thoroughbred racehorses.

Members are welcome to get in touch at any time to organize a morning on the gallops and are welcome to stay overnight in our on-site accommodation (at a 20% discount!) should they choose. Paul Webber Racing will also host club stable visits once per quarter, so there’s no excuse not to drop in and say hello!

Paul himself will deliver regular, in-depth updates on the club horse(s), delivered by email every Saturday Morning at 11:30, as well as updates whenever the horse is entered or declared to run. Once the club is filled, we will be running a competition for members to decide what the first horse should be named.
 
Club memberships are £24 per month (including VAT) and members can expect to receive a welcome pack towards the beginning of September once the club pins arrive!

Cropredy Lawn Racing Club’s first horse is 'Moonscape Girl' a Cityscape filly. Her dam is Shuil Gealach, a Flemensfirth mare, who won a bumper for Paul Webber Racing at Worcester and was later placed over hurdles.

Her first foal, Thecompanysergeant, is rated 130 over hurdles in Ireland and has been 2nd in a Grade 2 on a recent start at Fairyhouse. He is obviously a horse of great promise.

The unnamed 3yo chestnut filly was born at Overbury Stud and has grown up at Cropredy Lawn. She was broken early this year and was doing plenty of cantering through May before being turned out for her Summer holiday. She then came back into training at the beginning of July and is now working and schooling nicely at home. She enjoys her work, seems to have a competitive nature and is proving to be a natural jumper - all promising signs!

Paul is aiming to have her ready to run in December-time in either a 3-year-old National Hunt Flat race or a 3-year-old National Hunt hurdle race.
