Old Gold Racing Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe Owner Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions cover only the 48-package free prize draw for existing Old Gold Racing owners. The separate public-facing free prize draw has its own terms.
1. The Promoter
The promoter is Old Gold Technologies Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 11787081, with its registered office at 315 Regents Park Road, London, N3 1DP, trading as Old Gold Racing (“Old Gold Racing”, “OGR”, “we”, “us” or the “Promoter”).
2. The Prize Draw
OGR is offering a free prize draw comprising 48 prize packages, each for one qualifying OGR owner and one guest, to travel to Paris for the 2026 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend (the “Prize Draw”).
The Prize Draw is intended as a reward for existing paid OGR racehorse owners. It is separate from any public-facing promotion run by OGR.
3. Eligibility
The Prize Draw is open to an individual who:
Is resident in Great Britain (England, Scotland or Wales);
Is aged 18 or over;
Holds at least one Qualifying Share at 12.00 noon (UK time) on Saturday 5 September 2026;
Has an active OGR / My Stables account through which the relevant Qualifying Share is recorded; and
Actively enters the Prize Draw during the Entry Period using the dedicated online entry form made available through My Stables and/or OGR owner communications.
A “Qualifying Share” means an individually owned, paid share in a current Old Gold Racing horse syndicate which is recorded in the entrant’s name in OGR’s records at the qualifying time.
Any free Club membership or share/interest connected with the Old Gold Racing Club or Henry Box Brown does not constitute a Qualifying Share for this Prize Draw.
Shares purchased, activated or otherwise first recorded after 12.00 noon on Saturday 5 September 2026 will not generate entries into this Prize Draw.
Employees and directors of the Promoter, and anyone directly involved in administering the Prize Draw, are not eligible to enter.
4. Number of Entries
Each Qualifying Share gives its registered owner one entry into the Prize Draw.
1 Qualifying Share = 1 entry;
10 Qualifying Shares = 10 entries;
20 Qualifying Shares = 20 entries.
It does not matter whether an entrant owns multiple shares in a single horse, one share in multiple horses, or a combination of both. Each individual Qualifying Share counts as one entry.
An eligible owner needs to submit the entry form only once. OGR will calculate and allocate the entrant’s total number of entries by reference to the number of Qualifying Shares recorded against that owner at the qualifying time.
A person may win no more than one prize package. Once an entrant has been selected as a winner, all of that entrant’s remaining entries will be removed from the draw.
5. How to Enter
The Entry Period opens at 12.00pm (UK time) on Sunday 6 September 2026 and closes at 12.00pm (UK time) on Monday 14 September 2026.
Eligible owners must actively enter using the dedicated online entry form made available through their My Stables account and/or OGR owner communications, and follow the instructions on that form.
Qualifying owners will not be entered automatically. If an eligible owner does not submit the dedicated online entry form during the Entry Period, they will not participate in the draw.
There is no separate charge to enter the Prize Draw. Entry is available only through the dedicated online entry form described above; there is no alternative entry route. The price of a Qualifying Share is not increased or otherwise adjusted because this Prize Draw is running.
Entries received after 12.00pm on Monday 14 September 2026 will not be accepted.
6. The Prize
There are 48 prize packages. Each package is for the winning owner and one guest and is expected to include:
Return Eurostar travel between London St Pancras and Paris Gare du Nord on specified services;
Two nights’ accommodation in a four-star Paris hotel, with breakfast;
One twin or double room for the winner and guest to share;
Private or organised transfers between Gare du Nord and the hotel;
An invitation to the Racing Breaks pre-Arc event;
An invitation to the Old Gold Racing drinks event;
Organised transfers between the hotel and ParisLongchamp;
Winning Post tickets for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe; and
Such on-site support as is included by OGR / Racing Breaks in the final itinerary.
The trip is scheduled to run from Saturday 3 October 2026 to Monday 5 October 2026. The Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe takes place at ParisLongchamp on Sunday 4 October 2026.
Travel to and from London St Pancras, and any other personal travel or expenses not expressly stated as included, are the responsibility of the winner and guest.
7. Eurostar Travel
Winners will be offered a choice from two specified outward Eurostar services and two specified return Eurostar services arranged by OGR / Racing Breaks.
The two outward Eurostar services will depart London St Pancras at 08:01 and 11:31 (UK time) on Saturday 3 October 2026. The two return Eurostar services will depart Paris Gare du Nord at 13:11 and 16:02 (Central European Summer Time) on Monday 5 October 2026.
Travel on alternative services is not included unless OGR expressly agrees otherwise. Where a particular service has limited remaining capacity, allocation between the available services may be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
8. Hotel Accommodation
Hotel and room arrangements will be organised by Racing Breaks on behalf of OGR. Winners may be allocated between the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile and Le Meridien Etoile, or another equivalent four-star hotel if reasonably required.
Each prize includes one room for two people, configured as either a twin or double room. A winner travelling alone may use the included room themselves, but no refund, credit or other benefit will be given for an unused guest place.
If a winner and guest require two separate rooms, this will be subject to availability and any additional cost must be paid by the winner directly or as instructed by Racing Breaks.
9. Guest
Each winner may bring one guest. The guest must be aged 18 or over and must satisfy all applicable travel requirements.
The winning owner must personally travel and use the prize. The winner may not transfer the prize to another person.
Any request to change a nominated guest after acceptance of the prize will be subject to Racing Breaks’ discretion, supplier availability, applicable deadlines and any amendment fee or additional cost imposed by the relevant supplier. Any such cost must be paid by the winner.
10. Travel Documents and Requirements
It is the responsibility of each winner and guest to ensure that they:
Hold a valid passport;
Satisfy all immigration, entry and travel requirements for France and for the return journey to the United Kingdom;
Obtain any visa, travel authorisation or other documentation required for their circumstances;
Arrange any travel insurance they consider appropriate; and
Are available and able to travel on the specified dates and services.
OGR is not responsible if a winner or guest is unable to travel because they do not satisfy applicable passport, immigration, health, insurance or other travel requirements.
11. Winner Selection
The draw will take place at approximately 12.00 noon (UK time) on Monday 14 September 2026, or as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter.
The 48 provisional winners will be selected at random from all valid entries using a verifiably random computer process. Each entry generated by a Qualifying Share will have an equal chance of selection.
OGR will retain an appropriate record of the draw and the method used to select the winners.
OGR may select reserve winners at the same time and in a randomly determined order, or may conduct a further random draw if a reserve is required.
12. Notification, Acceptance and Response Deadline
Provisional winners will be contacted using the email address, telephone number and/or in-app contact details held on their OGR account.
A provisional winner must respond within 48 hours of the time OGR sends the winner notification, confirming that they:
Accept the prize;
Are available to travel from Saturday 3 October 2026 to Monday 5 October 2026;
Intend personally to travel; and
Will provide the information reasonably required by OGR and Racing Breaks to fulfil the booking.
If a provisional winner does not respond within 48 hours, declines the prize, is ineligible, cannot travel, or otherwise cannot satisfy the conditions of the prize, their entitlement will lapse and OGR may offer the package to a reserve winner or conduct a redraw.
OGR intends to announce confirmed winners from approximately 12.00 noon on Wednesday 16 September 2026. If a reserve winner is required, confirmation or announcement of that prize may take place later.
13. No Transfer, Substitution or Cash Alternative
The prize is personal to the winning owner. The winning owner may not sell, assign, transfer or substitute their winning place to another person.
If the winning owner cannot travel, the prize will lapse and may be offered to a reserve winner or redrawn.
There is no cash alternative, refund or other monetary substitute for the prize or any unused element of it.
14. Existing Racing Breaks Bookings
If an eligible OGR owner has already purchased an OGR / Racing Breaks Arc package and subsequently wins this Prize Draw, the amount paid for their existing Racing Breaks Arc package will be refunded and the winner will instead be moved onto the prize package arrangements, subject to Racing Breaks confirming and administering the transfer.
15. Changes to the Itinerary
The prize is provided with the assistance of third-party suppliers, including Racing Breaks, Eurostar, hotels and ParisLongchamp / racecourse operators.
If an element of the stated itinerary becomes unavailable or must be changed for reasons outside OGR’s reasonable control, OGR will use reasonable efforts to provide a reasonable alternative of broadly equivalent character or value, subject to applicable law and supplier availability.
Timings, hotels, transport arrangements, event access and other itinerary details may therefore be subject to reasonable change.
16. Personal Data
Personal information supplied in connection with the Prize Draw will be used to administer the draw and fulfil the prize. Information reasonably necessary for travel and accommodation may be shared with Racing Breaks, Eurostar, hotels, transport providers, racecourse operators and other relevant suppliers.
Personal data will otherwise be handled in accordance with OGR’s applicable privacy policy and data-protection obligations.
17. Winner Information and Publicity
OGR intends to announce the names of the winners through OGR communications and may use reasonable photographs, video and other content from the Paris trip in connection with reporting and promoting the event, subject to applicable law and any separate consents required.
Where the Promoter is required to make limited winner information available to demonstrate that a valid award took place, it may do so in accordance with applicable promotional rules and data-protection law.
18. General
By entering the Prize Draw, an entrant confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
OGR reserves the right to verify eligibility and to disqualify an entry where it reasonably believes that the entrant has breached these Terms and Conditions, provided false information, manipulated the entry process or otherwise acted improperly.
OGR will administer the Prize Draw fairly and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
These Terms and Conditions and the Prize Draw are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights an entrant may have under applicable law.
