What we’re all about
Old Gold Racing will marry the rich history of British racing with a truly modern ownership experience.

The History of
Old Gold Racing
In 1945 Ronnie Holbech’s horse, Paladin, came 3rd in the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Ronnie was left ruing fate as the preceding two Gold Cups – when Paladin was in his prime – were called off because of war. Ronnie was the great-grandfather of our CEO, Ed Seyfried.
Now, you can join us on our mission to win big races in our own Old Gold silks, just like Ronnie tried to – and who knows: perhaps even better him by winning a Gold Cup.
